According to Monkey Shoulder, the name Monkey Shoulder was inspired by the traditional malt whisky distillation process. This labour intensive was of mixing the malted barley by hand with shovels often caused a shoulder injury causing their arms to hang low like a monkey!!

Cocktail Hour!

The Ginger Monkey 

Try a this 'cheeky' homemade Cocktail!!

Ingredients:

·    50ml Monkey Shoulder

·    120ml Dry Ginger Ale

·    1 Orange Wedge

 

Method:

1.  Fill a long glass with ice.

2.  Pour in Monkey Shoulder and dry ginger ale.

3.  Gently stir and garnish with the orange wedge.

Drinking In

Everyone needs a beach holiday now and again. Monkey Colada Cocktail:

Ingredients:

 - 40ml Monkey Shoulder

 - 20ml Koko kanu (coconut rum)

 - 60ml Coconut water

 - 10ml Fresh lime juice

 - Pineapple leaf and chunk

 - Dash of sugar syrup

Method:

  1. Add all the ingredients blender and blend till smooth.

  2. Pour into a tall glass.

  3. Garnish with the pineapple leaf and chunk.
